About
Lisa

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trauma-informed and EMDR-informed care. As a mom of three myself, I understand firsthand how full, complex, and at times overwhelming this season of life can feel, and that perspective shapes how I show up in the room. We move at a pace that feels safe and manageable—never rushed or overwhelming. I’ll offer direction and ask thoughtful questions to guide the process and gently challenge you to do the hard work of healing, while making sure you remain in control of your experience and the direction we take. I also intentionally leave time at the end of each session to wrap up, integrate, and stabilize, so you can return to work, parenting, and the rest of your day without feeling worse.   Book a free 15-minute consultation

Education and Training

I hold degrees in community health and psychology from Tufts University, a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. I am certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International and am EMDR certified, as well as an EMDR Consultant in Training.I began my clinical training at Monmouth Medical Center’s Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder Clinic and have since worked in a range of outpatient settings. I’ve also been featured in The Bump and Parents for my work in maternal mental health.

Previously, I served as a peer leader with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association and as a mentor with Pockets of Light, which supports families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. While the work we do together can be deep and at times heavy, there is also space for lightness. With many clients, there are moments of humor and laughter along the way—because parenthood can be heavy enough, and therapy doesn’t have to add to that weight.  I bring both clinical expertise and a deep respect for the lived experiences of the people I work with. My role is to meet you where you are, help you make sense of what you’re carrying, and support you in moving forward in a way that feels steady, supported, and sustainable.
